The Vineyard plays a prominent role in my stroke journey. We had a house there for 43 years, and there was so much going on for David & Libby's wedding weekend. A dinner at the house to meet her family, the ceremony and reception at the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society ... to name a few of the nuptial activities we had long- planned. And it was in only 8 weeks!
I lived for the mother/groom dance. Here we are, dancing to "The Way You Look Tonight". I was definitely saving my energy for it. (Notice everyone watching us? What's the phrase? There wasn't a dry eye in the place.)
